Send some love

Hey So Unpretty readers! You've often read about my wonderful sister on this blog. Well, she's going on a retreat for her cute little soul, and I want to send her this blog post for my secret letter to her. So, comment how great she is and how much I talk about her and how much you love her just from hearing about her. This will be the best piece of mail she gets! Thanks, nerds.

I can't wait to meet the FAMOUS Ali Huss at her graduation party! According to her proud big sister Linda, Ali is the smartest gal in the West Chester area, she has her head screwed on tight, and she is a damn good volley ball player.

When I worried that my nephew would be jealous when his little brother came home from the hospital, Linda said 7-year-old Linda was completely excited and in love when Alli came home. Clearly, she still is in love.

Linda is ready to make big sacrifices for her little sis because clearly, Alli brings her a lot of joy.

i dont even know what a secret letter is. but i gather from context clues it is a letter you receive at a retreat for your "cute little soul."

anyway, hello little huss. are you #7 in that pic? if so, that is a pretty scandalous volleyball outfit you are sporting there!

it is true, linda talks about you all the time. once she made me do your homework, hope that worked out for you. (you should also punch that teacher in the face)

i hope you have a wonderful retreat and an even better final 3 months of high school.

oh the single memory i share of you...seems like yesterday that we tail-gated for The Fray, nimbling on healthy snacks that your mother so thoughtfully prepared for us. I admired your jean skirt and very sincere and friendly charm. Your sister is so proud of you. Keep up the good work you do for school, with family and on your team, but try to remember not to be so hard on yourself. you are perfect whether you get an A+ of a B-. Seriously. Enjoy life.

Ali, I like you for a few reasons. 1) I like Linda a lot, so any sibling of hers, I am a fan.
2) I played volleyball all through middle school and high school. I loved it more than anything. We won State Championships. It was the most glorious moment of my life. I know you love it, too.
3) Your name is Ali. This is one of my nicknames.

Anyway, have fun on your retreat! Linda loves you so much!
