without hitting dictionary.com, without beseeching google, please just take a guess here: what in the h is the definition of "rockabilly" ?? all the cool kids-- well, people in the media-- like to use that term and i nod along, like a am rockabilly myself. but in reality, i'm not sure WHAT it is.hint: when i put rockabilly into google image, this photo is what came up.
so please, don't cheat. just give some rockabilly clarification.

Usually rockabilly refers to a genre of music, but it has taken on a definition of personal style including: greased, high hair, tigh dark jeans, tattoos, facial hair and sideburns, piercings, an affinity for 1950's rock music and electric guitar. FOr girls- red lipstick and polka dots. It's sort of a rebellious doo-wop thang gone dirtball.
there is also psychobilly- which refers to mind numbingly fast guitar riffs, several drum sets, and screaming into a microphone- like metal meets doo-wop.
