I was just sent this ultra-scary link, www.familywatchdog.us, created by America's Most Wanted's John Walsh. You can enter your address, and you'll get a map with icons throughout your neighborhoods, telling you where registered sex offenders live and work. When you click on these dots a picture of a person will appear with an address and the description of the crime he or she had committed. Yes, it is big brotherly and a little creepy, but at the same time, facinating and terrifying. So very unpretty. But good if you are a parent.

ok, the crazy way i know about this: someone in my high school class told me about this site, and it turns out her ex-boyfriend (whom she dated all 4 years of high school) turned up on it!
the horror, the shame!
