Help a sister out.

Mi hermana got an I Pod Shuffle for Christmas and needs some help picking good songs. I'm thinking two categories: 1. Good songs for running and 2. Just damn good songs.

Anything to offer her besides Justin Timberlake?

I know I am in the minority, but I love Barenaked Ladies. A lot of their stuff is upbeat and fun. Alanis Morissette's remake/remix of "Crazy." I like a lot of Blink 182. The Who - "Pinball Wizard," "Baba O'Riley." Rolling Stones - "Start Me Up." Pat McGee - "Runaway." Anything from Salt n Pepa - "None of Your Business," "Shoop," "Whatta Man." Michael Jackson - "Way You Make Me Feel," "Black or White." Jay Z and Linkin Park - "Numb." I guess anything from Jay Z. Janet - "Throb," "You Want This," "Go Deep," "Because of Love." Nelly and NSync - "Girlfriend." Mariah - "It's Like That." OAR - "Crazy Game of Poker." Billy Joel - "Keeping the Faith," "The Entertainer," "We Didn't Start the Fire." U2 - "Vertigo." Michael Bolton - "How Can We Be Lovers" (trust me). The Doors - "Hello I Love You." Joe Cocker - "Feelin Alright." Britney Spears - "Toxic." Christina - "Dirty."

Anything U2 is great for running, especially songs from the Joshua Tree. New Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado is good too.

Flip-flop- I can't believe that you like Alanis Morrisette's 'Crazy'. You know that my favorite beautiful/ugly man Seal originally made that song, right?

I know "Crazy" was originally by Seal. Notice that I did not recommend that one. Kidding. I don't deny that he is a good singer, but he is no sex icon.
